In the recent past, we have witnessed a proliferation of photovoltaic project development activities that have led to a ‘pipeline’ of authorisation and connection requests far beyond all expectations. In 2024, however, three legislative constraints were published that were not particularly positive.

In light of this, in this session we will try to understand what they are:

• the up-to-date data on applications
• the success rates of authorisation processes
• the factors influencing whether or not authorisation is granted
• the new approaches to project development

How is the photovoltaic supply chain? The session will focus on the price development of photovoltaic technologies and the evolution of the supply chain, a crucial aspect for the industry in 2025. Factors influencing the cost of key components such as modules, inverters and storage systems will be analysed, as well as the impact of global demand, market dynamics and international policies.
